Lord Mayor's Creative Writing Awards 2015

Feeling fantastic to be invited to the recent launch of this year's Lord Mayor's Creative Writing Awards at the Melbourne Library Service Library at the Dock in the Docklands precinct. The audience was treated to a lively conversation by panellists Sam Twyford-Moore from the Emerging Writers' Festival, Kirsty Wilson of Text Publishing fame, Kate Larsen - Writers Victoria director and James Cristina, who scooped the pool at the 2013 Awards. And what a wonderful venue, this state of the art library, perched on the water's edge at Docklands. I left armed with renewed inspiration and energy for this new writing journey and entry to this auspicious writing award.
